What is
Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the "life force energy" that flows through us. It is very simple yet powerful.
The name "Reiki" is derived from 2 words: "Rei" meaning divine wisdom & "Ki" meaning life force energy. Reiki is a spiritually guided life force energy that works holistically on the whole person. We are surrounded by life force energy. This life force energy surrounds and penetrates our physical body. It is as much a part of us as our physical body and it is directly connected to the quality of our health. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress and is it is high we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki energy comes directly from the highest spiritual source. Reiki heals by flowing through the energy field and charging it with positive energy. This causes negative energy to break apart & fall away and allows clearing & balancing. This allows the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.

The levels of our life force energy impacts our bodies' healing ability. Reiki provides a higher level of nurturing to the body's organs and tissues. It also works on the mind, emotions, and spirit. This healing is a method not only for eliminating symptoms, but also for achieving increasingly higher states of health.

As stress is relieved, tensions in the physical body are released as well. We know that stress depresses the immune system and has been linked to nearly all diseases.

Reiki can also heal on a karmic level. Reiki has its own intelligence and knows where healing is needed. It does not have to be directed by the practitioner. However, during a session, we may sense an area on the body that pulls us to focus on that spot.
CLASSES
Below are descriptions of the various levels of Reiki classes that Paula teaches. As a teacher and a mentor, Paula will provide you with personalized attention and take the time to ensure a deep understanding and connection to the Reiki energy.
In each Reiki class level you are connected to that Reiki energy by what's called an attunement (originally called initiation).This attunement activates the flow of the Reiki energy. Another benefit of attunements is that they aid in developing our Eighth Chakra.
Receiving attunements and practicing Reiki also develops our so called "secondary chakras" in the palms or our hands. Allowing the palms of our hands (which are normally a minor chakra) to become fully opened up. This "super" chakra is then developed in its greatest capacity. How exciting!
Each Reiki Class includes 2-Days of instruction and a one-on-one review session to be completed at any time after completing the class.
Reiki Level I + II

Level I Usui Reiki
Level I Reiki class focuses on healing and cleansing ourselves. In this class the attunement will "flip the switch," opening up the connection that we all have with Reiki energy. This attunement will:

Activate the beautiful flow of Divine love and healing

Give the chakras and the aura their first cleasing release

Promote individual balance
Healing is about restoring balance. As Reiki practitioners it is very important to maintain our own physical balance & harmony. Level I is about learning and practicing our Reiki on ourselves, family, friends, pets, etc. Once you become attuned in Level I Reiki your life is forever changed. The channel that you open here will always remain open.
Level ii
Level II Usui Reiki
Level II Reiki enables you to be a Reiki practitioner at a business level. In this class you will learn distance healing. You will be given 3 symbols, their meaning, function, and learn how to use them in your Reiki.
Symbols are a tremendous tool in your Reiki practice. This attunement works to:

Reiki Level III + Master

Level iiI Usui Reiki
Reiki Level III will focus on the spiritual soul level of Reiki. In this class you will learn to use crystals and stones in your Reiki. You will make a grid and learn how to use it. Attunements will be explained in greater detail. You will be given 1 more symbol and learn the meaning, function, and how to use it.
As the student continues to get attunements more density is released. The result is the Divine light flowing brighter. We will learn:

The loving, healing, and divine energy of Reiki is of the highest intelligence. It goes where needed.
MASTER
MASTER Usui Reiki
Master Reiki will enable you to teach Reiki and to give Reiki and healing attunements. You will be given 2 more symbols with their meaning, function, and how to use them. We will discuss the guidelines and ethics in teaching Reiki.
Each of us is an individual and can add our own experiences and intuition to our teaching. I believe fellow Reiki masters can share and give to each other as well, because the ability to grow and share in Reiki never ends
REIKI CLASS REFUND POLICY: Class deposits are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by Paula Vail or Wellness Inspired. In the event you need to reschedule a class, the deposit may be transferable upon consent of Paula Vail or Wellness Inspired.

Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, developed the Reiki principles with the purpose to help people realize that healing the spirit by “consciously deciding to improve oneself” is a necessary part of the overall Reiki healing experience. This is true for both the receiver and the sender of the Reiki energy. The Usui system of Reiki is much more than the use of Reiki energy as it also includes an active and continuous commitment to improve oneself.
